📍 Rex Lookout⁣ | Cairns, Australia |⁣ ⁣ A 📍 Rex Lookout⁣ | Cairns, Australia |⁣ ⁣ After taking a break from social media to live more in the moment, and a long 10 hour flight later, I am back with a new blog post - Guide to Tropical North Queensland 🤗. Link in Bio.⁣ ⁣ This picture was taken at Rex Lookout which is along the Great Barrier Reef drive from Cairns to Port Douglas. Hands down one of the most beautiful drives that I have ever done! ⁣ ⁣ We chose to stay in Port Douglas over Cairns and it couldn’t have been better. 📍Mossman Gorge⁣ | Queensland, Australia |⁣ 📍Mossman Gorge⁣ | Queensland, Australia |⁣ ⁣ I was pretty impressed with mum this day (once we had eventually got through the complaining!). I know that she doesn’t particularly like walking, let alone walking in 35 degree heat and in crazy humidity. ⁣ ⁣ But she did it! The rainforest circuit track at the gorge isn’t that long (2.4km) but it took us about an hour. They advise against swimming at the gorge in the Mossman River (although many people still do). Gardens by the Bay is absolutely mesmerising and is even more magical at night when everything is lit up!⁣ ⁣ My first time in Asia and in Singapore did not disappoint. I had seen so many photos of this place before I went and it was everything and more than what I expected. You can’t truly appreciate how incredible the views are until you see it through your own eyes.⁣ ⁣ Entering Gardens by the Bay (which is free except for certain attractions) is like walking onto a completely different planet. Hoorah! 😆⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ We might not be going until May next year, but you can start making dining reservations 180 DAYS IN ADVANCE! 🤣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Sounds rather extreme, but sometimes we haven’t been able to get reservations at Be Our Guest because it’s so darn popular!
